I called to your customer care to block my sim card from last two days but they are not blocking my card, and somebody is using my card i had given him a full detail of mine than also they didn't block my sim card. yesterday night near by 11:00 or 11:30pm i called to your customer care their was one person name called Mr. Jose he is the Team leader he was telling me that, i will not block your card (JA BLOCK NAHI KAREGA JO KARNA HAI KARLE DARTA NAHI HU). This is the way to treat with your customer. i had recorded all the conversation in my mobile if anything goes wrong VODAFONE will bear for the same b'coz i had called them thrice. I want a reason why he was taking like that we are a fool for using your services.
KINDLY REVERT ME FOR THE SAME.
ASAP…………

Same problem faced by me too..I too vodafone connection on 2nd Jan 2007 and still stick to it coz of the fancy old number. talking abt service…sometimes..they call and the computer talks..and it tells us to press 1 for some service..and 2 for another service like that..then it will tell us that u hv been subscribed..for so and so service and all..and then daily rental of 2 rs will be deducted..i faced this problem for nearly 3 months..then somehow i solved the problem…another problem is that i cannot send an sms to one particular idea himachal pradesh number.. i can send the same sms from another networks number but the same sms i cant send to that idea HP number..i dont know what is the problem..dis problem is since the past 2 and a half yrs..and still continuing..none of the vodafone officials cared to solve this problem…btw what do u do lavanya ? where r u from ?

I had an orange connection which was taken in 2004 from Mumbai which later on changed to vodafone. The cel no was +xxxxxxxxxx. I relocated to Muscat in Jul 2008 after clearing all dues and had not been using that no since then. I have misplaced the sim card. Please let me know how to terminate the connection and the procedure to clear dues if there are any. During my short trips to Kerala, I had approached many vodafone offices, but they have not resolved the issue todate.

Hi Amit,
I am facing a problem in my prepaid account balance. I had made a topup of Rs.150 in the month of June. Later after a month, that is in the month of July the balance I had was deducted. Immediately I called the customer care and enquired the reason, initially they said that topup is valid for a month, but then during the period of topup I was told talk time is valid till the expiry date of my recharge. Later they said their might be some technical problem in their system and would refund my amount by 3rd Aug.
I had logged the complaint on 30th July. I have been calling the customer care quite a lot of time and they still keep telling that I will get my amount refunded. I can list some people whom I spoke with

3> Laxman
4> Sangeetha
All of them assured that i would get it refunded, but no effect.
If the customer care continue to work in this, it will definitely loose many customers. If my issue is not getting solved then surely I will be moving out of this and even insist my friends not to go for this.

It is really a shame that Vodafone Customer Care is just a way to show vodafone users that you care but in reality you do not care but you use the users for your benefits.
Reasons for my bluntness:-
a) Customer Care does not answer calls
b) Customer Care no 111 does not log you to any attendent, its just a waste of time.
c) Your Ringer tone unit Logs onto any number and decides to add ringer tone when not requested, hence allgedly debiting un requested charges. This has several times happened to me and my Husband and we have been deducted several times sending our balances to minus figures.
I SUGGEST THAT SOME ONE FROM YOUR UNIT DOES CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY EITHER ON MY e-mail or call me on 9780192070 or 9780902684

I am jst fed up from vodafone customer care. On 26th May, 2009 morning i got msg from vodafone tht MCI (Missed call informatn) service has been activated. i ws surprised to knw coz i had not activate that service, but checking my balance i got there was deduction of 30 Rs. then i talk to vodafone custmer care. they told me to send a message CAN MCI to 144. i did the same.Then on 27th morning, i got a message that MCI service has been deactivated.
then again 27th afternoon i got a message that MCI has been activated. & again they charge me 3o. Rs/-
Now there is a total deduction of Rs. 60/- in 36 Hours.
Vodafone executives r saying its not posible that v had activated MCI service without your request.
kindly help me what to do?????……….

They had disconnected my phone to due non-payment of bills. Its not because i cannot afford the 3k bill, its because i dont get time for paying it before the specified date. Project deadlines and seminars hardly give me anytime to make the payments on time. Hence i got this custom of making a payment of 500/- every week. Means instead of paying the whole 3k or 2k in lumpsum, i make the payment in parts of 500/- every week….
Some days earlier, i made a payment of 800/-. I wasn’t provided a receipt for the transaction. The cashier mentioned that i would be getting a message by sms. Didnt have the time to argue with him and left them for good. The next day, while traversing along the highway, the car developed some problem and stopped abruptly. The service center number was on a sticker in the front pane, and i decided to give them a call. It was then that i realized that they havent credited my account with 800/- which i had paid earlier. And i was stranded in the highway for 2 hours. And the amount was credited to my account only after 18 hours and my outgoing was released an hour after that.
That evening i terminated my postpaid corporate account…
These days am with good old BSNL Prepaid …

I could not agree more wit u guys!!! I was in chennai for a year and was using a vodaphone connection. I Quit the chennai job informing vodaphone people to disconnect my phone because i was shifting to blore. I tried payin the bill via visabill pay but for some strange reason couldnt. Jus as i was readin this blog, i recieved a call from a thug/recovery agent who calls himself a lawyer saying vodaphone is filing a suit against me for non payment of bill. All this when i have not been given the bill at all!!!(neither via email/paper). Assholes of the nth order.

I used Hutch for over 5 years and feel very sorry that Vodafone has failed to live up to the standards set by Hutch….

my mother is a vodafone postpaid user, therefore against it i got a call from Mr Harish from the faridabad centre saying that they have an offer of another postpaid connection which will start within 24 hrs, i paid 250rs and submitted all documents required on 9th june and thought it will get registered by the next day…but to my horror i came to know after calling at call centre that the documents were deposited on 11th !!!
anyways i was told that within 72 hrs it will be activated, but as expected very tricky statements were made by Ali & Madhuri (custer care executive), the customer care is so pathetic that they don’t even attend calls properly, about 5 times they had disconnected my calls without providing full information, and every time i ask for the status …im being asked to wait for another 72 hrs!!!
i had a very bad experience with HUTCH and therefore i was very skeptical about taking vodafone but for the name sake and that Vodafone is an international brand i trusted it, but i guess that vodafone is even worse.

I was going through some of the posts above and found myself amused at some of the posts. First of all this site isnt a standard Vodafone a.k.a Hutch grievence redressal spot. I know understand why people are funnily posting their grievences here?? huh!! people.. see the site address
secondly .. many people are asking for ways to do it online.. again people!! if u have ICICI or HDFC online banking account then go into their website and simply search!! yeah!! simply search for the keywords “online prepaid recharge”. Googling should have brought in results but even though it didnt you have your financial institution’s website. Utilize the great search feature..
well nyway.. as said before.. i’m loving the idea of recharging online.. have been using it from over 2 years and never had any issues. yeah one time the transaction didnt go through and it took couple of days for the money to return to my account. I am getting unnecessary & frequent miss calls from Vodafone number 9833003267 but while I am trying to contact it always comes as ” THE VODAFONE NUMBER YOU ARE TRYONG IS CURRENTLY NOT REACHABLE”. I am unable to understand that what the hell is wrong with Vodafone. I had called uo Customer Care of Vodafone & they simply refused to give the owner details of that number.
HENCE I HAVE DECIDED TO DEACTIVATE MY VODAFONE CONECTION & IWILL GO FOR SOME OTHER MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER.
If anybody have bit idea about the owner of this number, please help mu out by providing it to me.

I called the customer care and when i asked about the current offer, i got a SMS saying….. With recharge of Rs 295 get a talk time of Rs 75/- with a validity of 60 days. 295 recharge is not applicable for life time validity subscribers…
But when i did the recharge on 2 April, i Got validity only for 30 days…First time when i called the customer care i was asked to wait for 24 hours…..even after waiting for 24 hrs nothing happened….again when i call the customer care there i no proper response…Each time i call customer care i have to repeat the same story…am suprised why the complaint is not logged and yyyyyy the history of calls made to customer care is not maintained…
Take necessary action regarding this complaint….

I received a massage on 12/03/2008 at 06.55.07 for Downlaod. Massage is ” Download FREE ringtones as many as you want in 1 Hour! Click on link” From : http://202.87.41.147/ Vodafone/6131. Thereafter I download some wallpapers and animation. Thereafter I see my Balance i.e. -Rs.286.
If it is FREE. then why, deducted this amount for said wallpapers. After that I speak to Customer Care Executive Shri Jitender Mahajan and Sr. Executive Mr. RAJ for said balance. But these persons are not explain me How, these amount deducted from my balance. thereafter, these persons are blocked my customer care service dailling option. This is not justic.

i am a regular user of Vodafone Previously (Hutch) in india.
i have recharged my mobile by a special recharge offer of Rs. 105 for
750 Minutes talktime to any Local vodafone number from 10 P.m to 8
a.m.
but when i talked to one of my friend at 10:02 Pm on date 15th
March,08 my account balance was Rs.120 and after talking to my friend
it was almost 80 Rs. i tried to talk to customer care and they agreed
that my balance is deducted by mistake of their software bcz i was
dialing to a vodafone number and at that time my 750 minutes should
have been deducted while they deduct my money from my actual balance
.. i got a complaint number 928881538 and i got a message from the
company that my problem would be resolved by 19 march 08 by 6 Pm.
not only this the same process happened on the next to next day from
first complaint and this time my 33 Rs is deducted from my actual
balance.. again i talked to customer care and i got the complaint
number 933255860 and this time the complaint resolved date is 24 March
08..
inspite of talking so many time to the executives they could not give
me a satisfactory reply that why my Balance is getting deducted while
i have the Bonous minutes to talk on Vodafone..
This is seriously a Irresponsible behiviour from the company to its customer..
i am very much harrashed from this behiviour..
i had to talk to a person extremelly urgently and due to the company
mistake i could not talk to him and a good project of Rs 2Lacs is left
from me..
i want a compansosian for that and my Balance money back in my Mobile
number 919999501518.
One more thing if i don’t get the proper satisfaction still from the
company side i am going go fire a written complaint to TRAI and the
Telecom Department and a CC to Brodcasting Minister..

I, Devender converted my prepaid connection no. 9873580454 into postpaid thru Gotocustomer services india pvt. ltd. Okhla, New Delhi Ph. 9953493163 ,011-66320157 on 25th Dec. 2007 by issuing me Chq no. 740301 drawan on syndicate Bank, Super Bazar, Connaught Place, New Delhi amounting Rs. 250/- under Plan 250. They provide me sim No. 00060072361, Caf. No. 1961574 and receipt no. 845 dt. 25/12/07. My Cheque cleared on 28th Dec. 2007 but no response recd. from them for change. Than i go to vodophone customercare at connaught place near my working place they said me that we issue new sim by taken cash of Rs. 250 & we cancel this application & you will get refund within 45 days under complaint no. 824582772 dt 1/1/2008 and on 28th jan.2008 give me another complaint no. 862174850 when i go to know the status of complaint. Till 5th March 2008 i have not recd the refund and go there to know the status of complaint they gave me again another compliant no. 91674290.
Kindly help me for my Refund of Rs. 250/-

This complain is regarding my simcard (my cell no 9820255009 )which is blocked as i changed my number from prepaid card to postpaid…….this was done by some agency at malad mr serivices ………they took all the documents and the money from my residence and now as the sim is blocked i am trying to contact them they are telling me to collect it from the office……….
when they come to collect the documents and the money , is it not advisable to send the sim card also same in the same manner
